Okay, once again a long time coming, but I'm getting to it! This month (Feb 2013) has been especially crazy, but I guess you will have to wait to hear about that when I am finally caught up! Sept 2012 was full of Pyper growing and developing, LJ starting pre-school,gaining a new part of our family (Buster) and fun with friends and family. I will now take you through the journey with pictures and captions:-)
Pyper during therapy learning how to lift her head...look at those ears, can't get enough of them!:-)
Oh, those eyes!
First half smile I was ever able to get out of her. We were so excited about it because that is a big developmental milestone!
On an evening in the very beginning of Sept, I received an e-mail from a neighbor saying that in the woods behind their house, they had been watching a mommy cat come and go, but they hadn't seen her in a few days, so they went to investigate. There were 4 baby kittens huddled, starving under a log and she wanted to know if anyone could take one into their home. I told Ryan I at least wanted to go check it out, to which he replied, "you know that means we are going to have a new kitty". I actually had never had a pet so I didn't know. Then as soon as I got there, this adorable grey and white kitty left his siblings to come cuddle my leg. I picked him up and "the rest is history" so they say. Ryan was right. This is our newest member of our family, Buster Stoianowski. We more than love him!:-)
LJ on the night we brought him home.
Daddy fell in love right away. Daddy is still his favorite to cuddle:-)
Daddy fell in love right away. Daddy is still his favorite to cuddle:-)
Mommy had to feed him from a dropper 4 times a day for a few weeks. So having him and a 3 month old baby was not the easiest thing with a 3 and 2 year old also!!
As you can see on my shoulder though, he was just too adorable to say no to:-)
He even loved cuddling with his older (yet still baby) sister:-)
Look at this cute little guy!
His favorite place to fall asleep for a while was on my chest as I sat on the couch... miss those times!
Also in Sept., Lorilyn started pre-school! She was so excited, she could barely be contained!
So at her school they have something called "Lunch Bunch". It is from 11:30-1PM, after the rest of the kids leave. It is more of a social/fun thing to eat your lunch then play with kids. It is not a cheap thing to add, so I didn't want to pay for it, but after 3 or 4 times of her somehow convincing the teachers she was supposed to stay because she had lunch bunch, forcing me to search for her, only to find her with the lunch bunch kids, then her crying as I took her away, i gave in. This was the first school lunch I ever made as mom. The first of thousands!:-)
This was picture day at her school...she was also a little excited if you couldn't tell. She is our social/learning butterfly. She can't get enough time learning from teachers and with her peers playing.
On Sept 9th this handsome guy turned 2!
This is the cake I bought last-minute at Kroger because I knew he was getting an awesome homemade cake and party at Nana and Papa's the following weekend:-)
We will pause with the birthday boy for another adorable ear pic from the babe:-)
At 2, playing with cars is his life...Cars and food, and this boy is happy:-)
Did I mention I love this kid? Because well, I do...lots and lots! He is my little man:-)
Like I said, the next weekend, home in MI celebrating both papa's (hence the bikini card in the background) and Bub (aka Daniel, aka Danny, aka Daniel Scott when he is in trouble, aka bubby)'s birthday. How cute is that little teddy bear?!
Nana delivering her wonderful creation.
Make a wish little man! May all your dreams and wishes come true!
Love you so much my Bubby, happy second birthday!
We love every moment we get with these amazing people! Papa and his youngest girl (that is until Carly is born in May!!) Can't wait for a new cousin to play with!
As much as we love these two, our kiddos truly will never get enough of them!
Papa and his grandkids (minus Carly, she was about 3 days in the womb in this pic:)
Buster LOVES himself some Nana and Papa:-)
Just a pic of my sleeping angel on Earth:-)
The rest of our Sept was spent just having fun and living life as a family. One of the main activities was kiddos riding trikes outside while Pyper slept and Daddy did school work.
I lately have tried to take more pics of my little guy with his binky and his blankie. I know he is going to outgrow both of these things, but I think this is how he will always be in my memory:-)
This was a "Tea Party" that LJ begged to have with me. Water and marshmallows, who could ask for anything more!:-)
If you look hard you can see Buster curled up next to Pyper. I love love love this pic of my 4 munchkins:-)
This is a pic symbolizing our life. Ryan and I are actually very crazy and weird. That side of us doesn't come out much around others, so not very many people understand. But something like this happens a few times a week, whether it be him or me doing something ridiculous. I think it our way of still finding joy/happiness/crazy/excitement/spontaneity...anything you need in life to keep you happy and fun, regardless if we have 3 kiddos and 1 cat under the age of 4. Real life involves whining, fighting, pooping, puking...you know, all the yucky things. I found the most amazing eternal companion because through it all we can still be silly/fun/weird, whatever we need to stay sane and keep our relationship fun and young:-)
Another highlight of our Sept was having our amazing friends Jon, Kyre, and their adorable son Christian here for a weekend. Jon was the first person Ryan met on MI campus during freshman orientation. He then became an amazing friend and roommate of his. It was so wonderful to have them here. Their little on Christian is incredibly adorable. Can't wait to spend more time as the kids grow and play together!
My little Denard! Well Maybe he is their Denard, but while he was at my house I claimed him as my own. Too too too too too cute!!
Lets hope these two are friends for life just like their daddies!:-)
