We had our ultra sound yesterday and found out our new little one is a boy:-) The best part about it though was they also said everything looks great. He seems to be a very healthy little guy! We are so excited to welcome this new buddy to our family in a few months!

Trip to Utah!
Lorilyn and I were given the opportunity to go to Utah to visit Grandma and Grandpa Bird and Great Grandma Jex. Ryan was a wonderful sport and stayed at home to work while his girls got to go play. We had an amazing time, eating yummy food, visiting lots of loved ones and always keeping an eye out for the curious little 14 month old trying to get into everything at Great Grandmas:-) It was so much fun watching Lorilyn get to know her grandparents more. By the end of the week if she couldn't get enough of them, especially cuz they took her outside to explore every day!
We got to go to Aunt Gloria's and LJ got to meet her second cousin Cole. It was fun to watch them play in the yard together.
LJ, Dad and I got to go to Kaysville to visit Zane and Chris Swim. It was wonderful too see these amazing people again!
Not the greatest picture of me, considering I look very white and bloated, but I had a blast hanging out with cuz Erika. We got to go to eat a couple times, shop for fabric and get pedicures! All while Grandma was so nice to take care of the little one!
We had lots of fun just hanging out at the house. Grandma got to bond with her littlest grand-kid...
Lorilyn talking to the Puppies...she LOVED these ceramic dogs in Great Grandma's yard and ran out to talk to them every time she got to go outside.
Another Sunday Morning
I just had to get a few shots of this adorable outfit Lorilyn had on a few Sundays ago. Once again, everything was thanks to Aunt Kori, but the hat just put it over the edge, way too cute! I now just wish I had a better camera to get some awesome professional looking shots like many people have now!
Looking in the oven at our reflection...something we often do:-)

Easter Weekend
Our Easter Weekend was of course wonderful, especially with it being general conference! The weekend started a little early since Ryan was able to work from home on Friday, so we got him here all day! There was lots of back rides and laughter. What a way to start a weekend!
Nana Jigs gave Lorilyn her own SOLID chocolate bunny for Easter so we decided to let her go for it...here are the subsequent pics:-)
Can you see my curls?! Her hair has been strait ever since she was born, but the longer it gets off her neck the curlier it gets...too fun!
Finally we get outside to find some eggs...she had a great time picking them up and shaking them, but didn't really like to put them in her basket, just besides her basket...
I didn't get a picture on our camera, but later that evening we were invited to dinner at Steve and Kori's. We had a delicious meal and then got to participate in their tradition of egg racing...Thanks so much for having us over!
Our Week with Steve and Kori's Family
Steve and Kori had the great opportunity to go to Salt Lake and attend a couple of the Sweet Sixteen games with Kori's family, so we got the great opportunity to spend some quality time with their kids! We had so much fun, each one of the children has such a wonderful personality. We loved having the opportunity to spend so much time and get to know them better. Here are a few pictures from our week:-) Thank you guys for the wonderful week!
The day after Steve and Kori left was Emma's Birthday so we got to celebrate all day, with songs at breakfast, Burger King playland for lunch, yummy pizza for dinner then ice cream with ALL the toppings that could fit in one bowl. Too much fun!
Since Saturday was the week before Easter we found a Park and Rec center doing an Easter Egg "hunt". Now when I say hunt, it actually turned out to be dumping a ton of eggs in the center of a circle and having the kids stampede to the middle and grab as many as they could, but it ended up being fun. Before the hunt we found the Easter Bunny and got a pic.
Lorilyn and Lizzy were in the first group. Ryan and I had to split up with them because Lizzy knew exactly what to do and took off for the center where even to get this picture I had to put an egg in from of Lorilyn. She was just having a blast being able to run around on the grass and could care less about the eggs:-)
I somehow missed a picture of Evan and his loot, but here is the very patient Braxton who never actually got to hunt, even though on the flier it said through age 12, they ended up only doing to age 10. He was such a good sport and such a help the whole time though!
