Well my computer has been out of commission for over 6 weeks and I finally got it back thanks to my super smart hubby:-) So, needless to say there is TONS to catch up on. I've decided that I will do just a very quick recap of each month we have missed. It will definitely not be covered as thoroughly as I would have liked but its just been way too long and if I'm going to get caught up to posting more regularly I need to just get a quick recap out there! So here goes nothing...
August began in a wonderful way with our little Pyper being given and name and blessing by Ryan in our Sunday Service. It was made an especially wonderful experience with Steve and Kori's family along with Grandma and Grandpa Bird and Nana and Papa coming into town for it! Unfortunately the night before everyone arrived Ryan and I both had a horrible stomach sickness that lasted about 12 hours. Hence we definitely could have been better hosts, but it was still wonderful to have everyone together.

Thanks everyone for coming! It meant so much to have our wonderful family surrounding us as we celebrated the new little life we are blessed to have in our family!
Aunt Lynette wasn't able to make it to the blessing, however a couple weeks later we were blessed to have her come for a visit also!! The visit was way too short but we enjoyed every minute of it! I love my dear sister!!
August was definitely a VERY busy month for us. Squished in the middle of those two events was a wonderful celebration of the marriage of Unkie and Amy! We got to go spend a week with Nana and Papa that was capped off with an amazing and beautiful backyard wedding. Ryan was the best man, I was a bridesmaid and LJ was the flower girl. It was so wonderful being a part of the union of these two special people. We are so excited to have Amy in our family now (and since this is being posted 5 months later, we are also over the moon that they are adding a little girl cousin named Carly for us to play with!) I took TONS of pics but here are just a few to give a good idea of the wonderful time we had.

So while all these events were going on we squeezed in a few swimming lessons for LJ, Pyper kept growing, daddy grilled while we played outside, and we even made it to the zoo!

Wow, I didn't realize how busy August really was for us! It was definitely full of some very fun times and amazing memories! Hope I can get Sept posted sooner than it took me August:-)
