So we got back a couple weeks ago but life has been insane trying to settle back in that I am just getting to posting. I'm the worst aren't I? I say I want to post more often and I do for a couple weeks then...here are I go again. Although a funeral and a 2 week trip is kind of a decent excuse but still. Also there is something in the near future that is definitely going to take me away from posting for a bit but I'm not going to mention that now...big news to come though and no we are not expecting:-)...Anyways...back to the trip. It was incredible. The first couple days was filled with family as we all were there and attended Grandma's funeral. The funeral itself was amazing. The spirit was so strong as we celebrated the life of one of the finest women to ever walk the earth, in my opinion. Her 24 grandchildren sang "We'll Bring the World His Truth" and the spirit was so intense. The fact that she raised 5 children, has 24 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren and they are ALL still working hard to stay strong in the Gospel is so inspiring and I am so lucky to be blessed to be counted as one of those. So after the weekend of the funeral I left with Lynette and family to spend a week in Rexburg, where she is living now. The week was filled with work for both of us, kids, ball games and normal life, but it was so wonderful to just live life with my sister. It has been 2 years since I had even seen her so every second we had was precious. Unfortunately we had so much fun that I barely took any pictures (yes mad at myself for that) but I have some from Easter with all the cousins and a few others so I'll share what I have.
After a dinner at Davids me and the kids headed with Lynette and family up to Rexburg to spend a few days. But unfortunately there are not many pics of it but here are a few...
So I have to explain this next picture first. It was Sunday morning and we were back at Grandma and Grandpa's condo. Me and mom were watching the choir broadcast just enjoying the music, LJ was QUIETLY playing (the quiet should have been my first clue) when I started to hear little sneezes...lots of them:-) Then grandpa comes in and says "You guys need to see this..." Lorilyn had dumped the entire salt and pepper on the table and was playing in it!:-) Seriously if a 2 year old is quite for more than a couple minutes you know there is something up.
